1. Who We Are

CollabVue ("we", "our", "us") operates the platform at collabvue.com, a marketplace that connects influencers and content creators with brands and businesses in India. By using our platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). Brands additionally provide their business name, business type, and city. Influencers provide their city, niche, social platform handles, follower counts, and optionally a contact email, phone number, bio, and portfolio links.

Profile activity: We log profile views (which profiles were viewed and by which account) to provide influencers with analytics on their reach.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers or bank details. We retain transaction IDs and order amounts for billing records.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the CollabVue platform
• To display influencer profiles to brands searching for collaborations
• To send transactional emails (inquiry notifications, subscription confirmations)
• To provide influencers with profile view analytics
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service

4. Contact Information Visibility

Influencer contact details (email and phone number) are not publicly visible. They are only revealed to brands that spend connects to unlock them. Influencers control what contact information they add to their profile and can leave these fields blank.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase – database and authentication infrastructure
• Razorpay – payment processing
• Resend – transactional email delivery
• Vercel – hosting and edge infrastructure

All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile data is removed within 30 days. Payment records may be retained longer as required by law.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (Supabase session cookies). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information via your profile settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and row-level security policies on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of CollabVue after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
